Rev. Paul Garrett

Pastor Paul D. Garrett was born to the late Freddie L. and Lizzie L. Garrett of McCormick South Carolina. Rev. Garrett is number eight in the lineage of nine siblings. He is married to the former Mrs. Alexandria Johnson and they have three children. He and his family have resided in Anderson, South Carolina for the last 20 years. Pastor Garrett received his undergraduate degree in Physical Education from Limestone College, Master of Education, University of South Carolina, and Educational Specialist, North Georgia College and State University. Rev. Garrett has worked in public education for 25 years and is now employed by Anderson School District 5 as the Associate Principal of T. L. Hanna High School. He is an educator by trade and Pastor by call.

Pastor Garrett was called to ministry in 1997 while attending the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Iva, South Carolina. Rev. Garrett was soon called to Pastor the Union Grove Baptist Church in Elberton, Ga. In 2001 he was lead to accept the call to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church as the Senior Pastor; where he continues to faithfully serve. Pastor Garrett is the past Moderator of the Rocky River Baptist Association of Anderson County which consist of 38 churches. His mission is to help people develop a fully devoted life to Jesus Christ
